The environment is very important to us and we've gone to great lengths to be leaders in sustainability. We handcraft our jewelry from start to finish in our certified Zero Carbon Vancouver studio and we cast exclusively in 100% recycled precious metals. We are a member of the Responsible Jewelry Council, we are certified carbon-neutral and we are one of only 20 certified B Corps worldwide in the jewelry industry. Our product descriptions are compliant with all Canadian laws and jewelry industry best practice, including guidance from the Responsible Jewelry Council. Due to discrepancies between computer monitor sizes, it is difficult to show the actual size of a product on the web. Because of this, Pyrrha provides detailed measurements and descriptions of our talismans on every product page.

No. Once an order has been placed, Pyrrha is unable to add items to an existing order. If you would like to purchase an additional item, please place a separate order through our online store.
As Pyrrha strives to reduce the shipping and environmental costs of packaging and shipping, providing adequate notice, Pyrrha may combine and ship together consecutive orders listed with the same shipping address.

Every sterling silver and bronze talisman is sold on a Pyrrha branded chain. Sterling silver talismans are paired with an oxidized or bright sterling silver chain, and bronze talismans come on a black sterling silver chain.
Pyrrha offers a wide selection of chains for individual purchase. For chain enquiries or to order a custom chain with any Pyrrha talisman, please email customer care.
Our jewelry comes packaged in a Pyrrha cotton pouch in one of our Pyrrha branded black gift boxes.
Yes. Most of our jewelry can feature a personal engraving on the back, underside or inside of each piece. The number of engravable characters possible on a particular piece depends on jewelry style and size. All engraving is done at our Vancouver production studio.
If you would like to have your order custom engraved, please call us toll-free at 1 (877) 479 7742 prior to checkout.
For all other engraving enquiries please email customer care with the subject header ‘ENGRAVING’ and we will be happy to assist you.
Please note that we charge a $29 engraving fee for 7 characters and less, and $46 for 8 or more characters. All engraved pieces are final sale.

No. Maintaining authenticity is important to us and we do not allow modifications to our designs.
Pyrrha jewelry is designed using authentic 18th & 19th century wax impressions and often retains century-old wear and tear, including cracks and imperfections.
The handmade nature of our jewelry means that slight variations might occur from piece to piece. All Pyrrha bears the maker’s hand and this is part of what makes it unique and meaningful.
PAYMENT
Pyrrha accepts Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, Pyrrha Gift Cards and Sezzle (US customers only) as online payment.
For purchases made with non-US credit cards, credit card companies or issuing banks may charge customers an international transaction fee. Transaction fees are not made on Pyrrha’s behalf.
All Pyrrha online transactions are subject to government tax and other prevailing charges.
While proudly Canadian, Pyrrha prices our products in USD to accommodate purchases made worldwide through our online store. All customers, including Canadian shoppers, are charged in USD.

SHIPPING
Pyrrha ships to PO boxes.
Pyrrha cannot guarantee expedited or overnight deliveries to rural postal codes or zip codes.
Pyrrha ships with both Canada Post and UPS. Pyrrha is not responsible for any carrier delays.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the shipping address associated with their purchase order or Paypal account is correct at checkout. Pyrrha is not responsible for deliveries to incorrectly entered addresses once an order has been placed.
Shipping lead time will take effect when your piece(s) leave our Vancouver studio.
Please allow up to 2 business days for talismans, and an additional 3-5 business days for specialty items, rings and 14k gold pieces. Please note that any custom orders or changes made to an existing order may take additional time to be processed.

All shipping timelines are estimated by the carrier, and exceptions may apply. Please note that Pyrrha is not responsible for shipping carrier delays (inclement weather, heavy volume, etc.).
Duties and taxes are not included in the total at checkout. Pyrrha is unable to supply estimated duties and taxes as they are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the recipient.
Pyrrha cannot adjust the value of your order, as we are required by law to disclose the full value of the content.
Some remote areas and international destinations may require additional time or fees, customer care will contact you immediately if this applies to your order.

Once an order has been fulfilled we will send you a shipping confirmation email. Should you not receive shipping confirmation within 2 business days of your online transaction, please contact us.
A tracking number will be provided by the carrier once the order has been picked up from our studio.
Our printed materials, gift boxes, and shipping boxes are all made from recycled and/or FSC certified paper. Our meaning card paper is handmade in Canada from recycled cotton t-shirt offcuts, linen, flax straw and jute.
As a carbon-neutral B Corp, we are pleased to extend our in-house recycling program to our customers. We are committed to sustainability and are happy to recycle any Pyrrha shipping materials you wish to send back to us.
PRODUCT CARE
Pyrrha is easy to care for. Wearing your talisman is one of the best ways to prevent tarnishing, but over time air pollutants, dust, perspiration, perfumes, and other natural elements can dull the lustre of metals and gemstones.
To best maintain your Pyrrha talismans, follow these care guidelines:
- Do not apply perfumes, lotions, or chemicals while wearing jewelry.
- Remove jewelry before sleep or activities where it may be subjected to stress or friction.
- To avoid tarnishing and discoloration, remove jewelry before swimming in chlorinated pools or hot tubs.
- Never clean Pyrrha jewelry with silver jewelry cleanser or cleaning solutions with abrasives or ammonia, as harsh chemicals will remove any blackened/oxidized finish.
- To remove oils and dirt, wipe your jewelry with a clean, soft cloth before returning it to storage.
- To avoid tarnishing and scratching, separately store each piece of jewelry in a Pyrrha jewelry bag.
- Purchase a Pyrrha Polishing Cloth prior to checkout.
Our sustainable jewelry is handcrafted using environmentally conscious, reclaimed sterling silver, bronze, and 14K yellow gold. Our designs feature conflict free precious and semi precious stones, and freshwater pearls.
All of our talismans arrive in an cotton Pyrrha pouch and are accompanied by a hand torn meaning card printed on handmade, recycled & biodegradable paper. We package our sustainable jewelry in a gift box made from recycled paper.

Regular wear with routine use of a polishing cloth helps prevent sterling silver and bronze jewelry from tarnishing. Bronze in particular needs to be polished regularly. Bronze is an alloy consisting primarily of copper and its composition can vary, therefore slight discrepancies in color may occur.
Clean sterling silver and bronze jewelry with a mild soapy water solution and a soft cotton cloth. To preserve the intentional oxidation that gives Pyrrha jewelry its distinctive look, do not soak silver or bronze jewelry, and never clean jewelry with silver cleanser or harsh chemicals. Once cleaned, rinse with warm water, and be sure to dry jewelry completely.
To clean your gold talisman, soak in a mild soapy water solution for 3-5 minutes. Gently clean using a cotton cloth, rinse, and be sure to dry it completely.
Organic and soft, pearls require special care to retain their beauty. Unlike stones, natural skin oils keep freshwater pearls looking lustrous, eliminating the need for regular cleaning.
Gently clean pearls by wiping them with a mild soapy water solution (not detergent) dampened cloth. Do not soak pearls. Once washed, rinse off any soap residue and dry pearls thoroughly.Soft and easily scratched, only wipe pearls with soft fabrics and take care to store them separate from other jewelry.Please note that pearls require humidity; do not store them in an arid or airtight environment as they may crack.
All gemstones including diamonds can chip, scratch, abrade, come loose, and attract oils that make them appear dull.
Most precious and semi precious gemstones can be cleaned using a mild soapy water solution, with the exception of more fragile stones like rubies and emeralds, which should only be cleaned with a dry cotton cloth. Take particular care with opaque gemstones such as turquoise. Avoid direct contact with lotions and perfumes, which can be absorbed over time and cause permanent discoloration.
